Shaw (Quincy A.) House is built.

1862

[1870?] Architect: Sturgis & Brigham. Designed in the Ruskinian Gothic style, it is located at 241 Perkins Street. The brick and terra cotta house is occupied by Quincy Shaw and Pauline Agassiz Shaw. It is purchased by Samuel Cabot in 1921 and refaced with stone from an English manor. The building becomes part of a new residential development in 1982.*
